Ernest Chiu, Rica Tanaka and Elof Eriksson Attend WUWHS 2026 as representatives of the Wound Healing Foundation.

The 2026 WUWHS Meeting utilized a lot of Malaysian decor and flavors. The meeting was well organized and well attended by over 5,000 participants, representing the global professional wound community from over 100 countries. 

The Wound Healing Foundation Representatives, Elof Eriksson, Rica Tanaka, and Ernie Chiu, not only attended the conference but also actively participated in it. Elof gave two talks and led two workshops. Rica gave a presentation at the meeting. Ernie gave two lectures and moderated two panels. Ernie also displayed via PowerPoint to announce the Foundation domestic and international wound grants, which generated quite a bit of interest from the audience.

Our representatives even spent a little time with WUWHS President Professor Harikrishna Nair.

The mission of the Wound Healing Foundation is to improve the quality of life of wound healing patients and their families, enabling more people to achieve optimal wound healing through awareness, education, and research.
