The
Cuba Amor
Exhibition
that was on display this spring at WKU’s Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center as part of the International Year of Cuba has traveled to Kennesaw State University where it will be on display this fall.
The exhibit aims to illustrate the stories, images and transcultural synergy between the peoples of the United States and Cuba.
The exhibit also includes
The String Project
, created by photographers Chelsea and Mariano Cortez, which invites visitors to take photographs clutching the same white rope in different surroundings.
The artists returned to WKU earlier this month to work with teachers and students in sessions at the Russell Miller Theatre and Jennings Creek Elementary School.
