Parish Town Hall Meeting
September 18th at 6pm
Corpus Christi Parish is beginning an important period of discernment about the future needs of our church and school community. Please join us for a Parish Town Hall on Friday, September 18th from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. in our Community Center. We will review the Preliminary Case for Support, discuss some of the needs and opportunities facing Corpus Christi, and explain the feasibility study process now underway. Most importantly, this will be an opportunity for parishioners to ask questions, learn more, and share their thoughts as we discern together what may be possible for the future of Corpus Christi. Please make plans to join us. Light refreshments will be served. For questions, contact the Parish Office at 251-342-1852 or office@corpuschristiparish.com

A Note About Forms
Health + Emergency Contacts
Please note that in addition to our digital Health and Medical History form, which is used by our school staff, we are required by the Archdiocese to collect medical forms that are specifically used for field trips. These forms must be in a specific format provided to us by the Archdiocese. The field trip medical forms must be taken on the field trip by the teacher in case a medical circumstance should arise while students are not at school. We also collect emergency contact information in multiple formats as part of our safety and security policy. Please know that all requests for information are for the safety and security of our students.

Thank You, Captain Mark Bailey
Serving Our Community
On Friday, September 11th, we honored those who lost their lives in the 2001 terror attacks. On this day we also prayed for all those first responders who serve our community. After Mass, we recognized one of our CCS parents, Captain Mark Bailey, who goes above and beyond for our school community, generously providing security for our weekly school Masses. Captain Bailey was surprised with handmade cards from our students along with a gift basket of his favorite snacks. If you see Captain Bailey at one of our school events, we encourage you to thank him for his service to the Mobile County Sheriff's Office and to our school.

Bible Verse + Prayer for September
Each month our students learn a Bible verse. We also choose a prayer to focus on each month. For the month of September our Bible Verse is Proverbs 3:5. Our prayer for the month is the Our Father. We would love for you to practice the Bible verse with your children at home.
Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
