Welcome Amy B. Bakkum

Meet Our New Associate Attorney

We are excited to announce that Amy Bakkum has joined Madigan, Dahl & Harlan, P.A. as an associate attorney.

Amy earned her undergraduate degree in Jewish Studies from the University of Minnesota, after which she served in Minnesota GreenCorps, an AmeriCorps program dedicated to preserving and protecting Minnesota’s environment. She then worked for several years at a metro area watershed district, gaining valuable experience in local government and environmental regulation.

Amy went on to earn her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude. During law school, Amy worked as a student attorney at the State Public Defender’s Office and later represented indigent clients as a Special Assistant Public Defender.

Prior to joining Madigan, Dahl & Harlan, Amy gained extensive legal experience serving as a clerk for the Honorable Rachel F. Bond at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. In that role, she worked on a wide range of complex legal matters from around the state, providing a strong foundation for her practice as a litigator.

Amy and her husband live in Saint Paul, MN. In her spare time, Amy enjoys backpacking, canoeing, and gardening.

We invite you to learn more about Amy and her areas of practice by visiting her profile on our website - Learn More About Amy.
