The Jerome Hill Artist Fellowships support Minnesota and New York City based artists who make risky creative work that do not fall into the conventional artistic forms. This is for newer artists (within 2nd – 10th year of art making). Artistic mediums include visual arts, performance art, spoken word, music, literature, film, dance, and technology centered art.

Elizabeth Strickler gives this brief TED talk on NFTs and what this means for the future of artists and content creators. Stickler dives into how this can create flows of income whether it be in or out of the metaverse.
The Nicholson Project was founded with a deep commitment to providing artists with space and support to create and further their practice. This residency provides full time living arrangements in a historic home that includes a an artist studio and apartment with a fully furnished bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. This residency is open to emerging, mid-career and established visual artists, designers, chefs, gardeners, architects and more. This award is focused on BIPOC artists who live in or have ties to Southeast Washington, D.C.

Grant Amount: Residential Suite, $5,000 stipend, and up to $2,000 to implement project
This grant is for under-recognized visual artists who are in need of direct support. Artists must be 21 years and older.

The Circ Artist Grant is open to all mediums of visual arts with the exception of video/film. This grant supports two artists that have shown a commitment to their art and want to advance and further their practice.

The National Endowment for the Humanities and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation jointly support individual scholars pursuing interpretive research projects that require digital expression and publication. This grant must be research focused over 6 to 12 months.
