Jeté is a magazine designed to raise awareness about the Dancenter, its activities, goals, and features. We will present manageable bites of the history of dance and dance makers. The articles will be concise, inspiring curiosity regarding the subject rather than providing a detailed account. So much is happening in dance now. Styles and discipline are being blended. Classical icons are being reimagined. Women are increasingly taking a more prominent role in the creation of dance and dance administration. Dance is moving into public spaces and becoming an integral part of daily experience. This is the most creative time in the history of dance.
