Stewardship - October 4 - 28, 2026
We're excited to begin our fall stewardship season! During the month of October, we get to have a church-wide conversation about investing in this beautiful community with boldness, imagination, and creativity. Here are a few exciting ways to get involved:
- Grab your stewardship packet on Sunday, October 4, Wednesday, October 7, or Sunday, October 11, in the Gathering Space to help save on postage costs.
- Bring a photo of you or your family to add to our quilt.
- Set your alarm to pray each day at 11:11am.
- Join the 30 Day Beauty Challenge.
- Join in art projects or enjoy viewing the creativity of our community.
On Sunday, October 25th & Wednesday, October 28th, we'll celebrate and renew our commitment. We are excited to be the church together. Let's make something beautiful!

Raising kids today isn’t always easy. Join Youth Frontiers for an evening designed to help parents and caregivers build resilience, character, and healthy relationships in young people. Best for families with kids PreK–Grade 6.
Taco Dinner | 5:00–5:30 PM (free will donation)
Praise & Worship | 5:30–6:00 PM
Parent Academy | 6:00–7:00 PM
Explore three essential traits that can help young people grow, thrive, and navigate today’s world. While parents participate in the academy, kids will enjoy fun, age-appropriate character-building activities!
Please register once per family and include each child’s full name and grade so they can prepare name tags and activities. Bring the family, grab a taco, and grow together!
| | Join us as we prepare lefse for the Christmas Boutique! Together, we will prep potatoes, then roll, flip, package, and label over 900 rounds of lefse - if you are available, we’ll have a job for you! Sign up for one day or all three - it’s sure to be a great time! | |

First Lutheran Constitution Update
A special task force, along with our former Interim Lead Pastor Karen Young Trenne, has reviewed and updated First Lutheran’s Constitution. The updated Constitution has been approved by the Northwestern Minnesota Synod and is now ready for your review.
Please review the updated Constitution using the button below or pick up a copy at the Welcome Center and join us for a Special Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 22, at 9:30 a.m. The congregation will take its first vote on the updated Constitution at this meeting, with a final vote to follow at the Annual Meeting.
What’s changed?
- Updated format to align with the ELCA Model Constitution
- Updated titles, including removal of the Church Administrator title
Note: The original Constitution has not been changed in substance; it has simply been updated to a new format.
| Each week we use 16-17 dozen treats, so we hope to have 4-5 volunteers each Sunday. | | | |
