Greetings!

I bring you greetings in Jesus' Name.

In a time of confusion and chaos at home and abroad, we hope these exciting updates bring your heart some hope and peace knowing that God is always working even when we don't see it!

Despite challenges facing Promise Child with a global pandemic, plagues in Africa & Asia, civil unrest in America, and the financial circumstances of our supporters having to cease sponsoring children, we have seen the mighty hand of Jesus bring light to the darkness. We pray that you will fight through with us as we continue to care for Promise Children around the world.

Please take some time to hear about the expansion of our Promise Child team, reaching those gravely affected in inner-city Los Angeles, and God's Word healing the broken in Uganda amidst troubling times.

Until the last one hears,

Pastor Brent Kaser

PANDEMIC, PROTESTING, & PROMISE CHILD AMERICA IN THE PROJECTS
We are blessed to give you all an update about our partnership with Hope Central Watts Calvary and the LAPD. In the wake of our current national civil rights movement, there has been even more devastation in Los Angeles, namely peaceful protests being taken advantage of and turned into lawless rioting and looting.

I believe it's important to note that the two communities being reached in Los Angeles are notorious for poverty, gang violence, prostitution, and drugs. These communities before the pandemic of COVID-19 were broken, and now the people living in Avalon Gardens and Gonzaque Village are hurting more than ever before. We are praying that many families are not only receiving necessary food and supplies, but also the unmatched saving hope of Jesus Christ.

Between fundraising efforts of Hope Central Watts and your contribution through Promise Child, they have been able to feed approximately 100 plus families in two communities each week. This means that nearly 400 people have food for three meals for 3-4 days each week. Glory be to God for the great things He has done!
Please pray with us over these project communities of Los Angeles and families as they are suffering in this time.

THE FULL TRUTH - ACCOUNTABILITY TIME!
Promise Child is so much more than just child sponsorship. We thought you would like to see a visual of the other areas that are made possible through your generous support. Some of the great blessings are the gifts and projects that go beyond child sponsorship. Food relief, Promise of Hope House, Sunflower Center, livestock, Jeremiah College Project, business startup supplies, soccer outreaches, bedding, malaria nets, sewing machines, and bicycles go a long way towards helping children feel love, protected, and successful.
MORE CHILDREN TO LOVE!
Afani lived with his mother until she recently passed away from cancer. His father is not involved in his life, so Afani if left alone with his older sister who is young and uneducated. Your support will help Afani stay in school and provide for his basic needs. Please pray that God will fill the void left in Afani's heart while he misses his mother. Also pray that Afani will grow strong in the Word of God.
