Without a doubt, the greatest possible human experience is having direct mystical experience of God—to know that God does, indeed, exist, that God’s Presence is a reality, and contact with that reality is within you at the center of your mind.

Second only to this experience is the knowingness of having the daily companionship of God, in the form of God directing you as you engage in your daily activities. What greater advisor or counselor could you have than the Universal Mind of God directing you?

One of Dr. Masters’ greatest joys was holding convention and graduation ceremonies for his students and graduates from around the world. His lifetime of service and his dedication to the International Metaphysical Ministry and its University System remain an enduring legacy after six decades. This reflects his belief in, and dedication to, higher consciousness metaphysical education. It also speaks to his deeply personal, unwavering commitment to his life’s calling and purpose. His legacy stands the test of time as a uniquely cherished and invaluable gift to his ever-growing student body, whom he treasured well above most things in his life.

This week will culminate not only in honoring his hard work and dedication throughout his years on earth, but also in celebrating his spirit. His embodied wisdom, dedication to a higher purpose in life, goodwill and fellowship towards others, and service above self 
live on as fundamental principles of the I.M.M.

As we gather this week to celebrate, may we honor and show gratitude to our Founder, Dr. Paul Leon Masters, with our intentions, accomplishments, and our day-to-day interactions of egoless learning, sharing, and experiencing—uplifting ourselves and those around us in service to others.

Convention Fine Points

For those of you coming to Sedona 
to attend the Convention and Graduation, 
if you haven't done so already, 
please take a moment to read the following:

• The Registration and staff desk opens at 12:00 pm on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Outbound Ballroom and will also open at 8:00 am, Monday through Thursday, for check-in.
• All attendees must check in to receive their registration package, which includes a name badge with a lanyard, the convention schedule, and the graduation roster. If applicable, you will also receive your vendor, dinner choice, and allergy card.
• Please be sure to wear your name badge, and have your guests wear theirs, for the duration of the convention.
• Bobby Russell from Sedona Sounds will play music at the Sunset Mesa Patio, aligned with the convention theme of "Celebration & Gratitude," on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, providing a wonderful opportunity to "Meet and Greet" fellow attendees before the event officially starts. Look for the sign Metaphysical Lounge.
• Seating opens at 5:45 pm for the banquet dinner at the Outbound Ballroom, with dinner service starting promptly at 6:00 pm. To ensure a smooth service, please do not change seats once seated, The Cottonwood Room will open for vendors at 12:00 pm on Sunday. If you are a vendor, please place your vendor card on your table. The Cottonwood Room will open at 8:00 am and close at 5:00 pm every day. You are not required to break down your table at the end of the day because the Cottonwood Room will be locked.
• Vendors are responsible for the merchandise on their tables, including collecting money from any sales.
• Merchandise must be removed from tables by the end of the graduation ceremony because the Cottonwood Room will officially be closed.
• Sales of DVDs, CDs, books, tapes, equipment, or any other form of merchandise are only permitted in the Cottonwood Room, not on the conference floor.
•  Solicitation for special services, consultations, instruction, and/or healing practices on or near the convention floor or in the entire hotel, without approval from University staff, is prohibited.
• If you need help during the convention, have questions, or have a special request, please contact any university staff member on duty. We will be delighted to help you.

Graduation Schedule

Dress Rehearsal in Regalia for Graduation Ceremony

Wednesday, September 16 – 10:00 am

All participating graduates are required to attend in their regalia. A representative from Jostens will be in attendance to help with the hoods and any other regalia questions.

Formal Cap and Gown Graduation Ceremony

Thursday, September 17 – 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Karl will be in attendance for special requests and family photographs. He will take individual graduation pictures as our graduates walk across the stage. All pictures will be available for purchase on his website.

Notes on the Graduation Ceremony: The duration of time is an estimate. The whole event could finish sooner or later. Due to the over 470 graduation guests in attendance, the Formal Cap and Gown Ceremony will take place on the Moonwater Terrace, with guests seated on the Serenity Lawn at Outbound Sedona. The expected temperature will be 87 degrees at the heat of the day. We advise all attendees to wear light clothing and bring sunscreen to ensure their stay is as comfortable as possible.

Serving Time: Thursday, September 17, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

• Coffee and Decaf Coffee: $5
• Assorted Canned Sodas: $4

Note: There will be one complimentary Water Station on each lawn closest to Moonwater Terrace for the graduates.

With over 470 guests expected to watch the formal cap and gown graduation, here are a few helpful details to ensure a smooth arrival for attendees.



• On-Site Parking Lots: There are 265 spaces across the main parking lots at Outbound Sedona. Hotel guests and staff will occupy some of these spaces so parking will be first-come, first-served.
• Side Road Parking: Two side roads on the map are available for guests to use once the main lots are full.
• We suggest carpooling to the event, where possible, to save parking spaces.
