NRPC awarded a $500,000 Brownfields Assessment Grant through EPA
From Executive Director Jay Minkarah: "This award will allow NRPC to continue supporting the clean-up, reuse and redevelopment of contaminated properties through our successful Brownfields Assessment Program. The Brownfields Assessment program covers 100% of the cost of conducting environmental assessments, development of clean-up plans, and reuse planning for qualified properties to help restore these sites to economically viable uses while enhancing environmental protection and public health. We are deeply grateful to the US Environmental Protection Agency and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services for their continued confidence and support."

Nashua Regional Planning Commission
37th Annual Forum
Thank you to all who attended Nashua Regional Planning Commission's 37th Annual Forum at LaBelle Winery in Amherst on May 11th. This was the first year the event has been held since 2019 due to the pandemic.
It was a great night with great weather. Perfect to connect with members of the communities we serve and hear more about a topic that is relevant to us all.
The topic was "Energy Supply & Demand: Emerging Trends", with featured speakers: Donna Gamache from Eversource and Chris Skoglund from Clean Energy NH. They spoke about the state of the current energy market and the future of sustainable energy in New Hampshire. It was very engaging and thought provoking!
