The Financial Aid Office at Cerritos College is preparing to process the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
The Department of Education has made several changes to the FAFSA as part of the FAFSA Simplification Act, which has delayed the delivery of financial aid applications to colleges and universities. We want to assure you that these delays will not impact your enrollment for Fall 2024 at Cerritos College.
Here's what you need to know:
Enrollment Fees: Enrollment for students begin before financial aid award letters are finalized. This means you may see an outstanding balance of fees on your account even though you may qualify for a California College Promise Grant (CCPG) fee waiver. You will not be dropped from your classes for non-payment for Fall 2024. If you qualify for a CCPG fee waiver based on your FAFSA/CADAA, we will apply the CCPG fee waiver in the coming weeks.
