-Engagement Ring Discovered in Rotolo's Fairhope Pizza-

A little over a year ago, a former co-worker named Kevin called out of the blue asking if I'd like to go out for coffee. I said, "No." He said, "OK." Luckily he kept calling.

I realized a few months later I should have said, "Let's Go!"

What I thought would be just another "Let's Go! Fairhope" evening at home with some dear friends and delicious Rotolo's take-out turned out to be a surprising and happy event.

"Let's Go! Yes!"

Community Meeting on Administering Narcan to Save Lives

Light refreshments / Opportunity to meet community partners / No registration required. Narcan kits will be distributed to those who complete the training.

Nationwide, opioid overdoses have nearly doubled in the last five years, involving prescription opioids and synthetic opioids (like fentanyl found in counterfeit pills sold online or on the streets). In Baldwin County, overdose deaths increased from 22 in 2019 to 75 in 2023.

Keeping naloxone (Narcan) easily accessible in your purse, car, home, or office could be critical in assisting someone in need. Enhancing the availability of this life-saving medication in communities is essential, as it could be the key to saving a friend or neighbor's life.

To combat overdose fatalities and raise awareness about the dangers, community partners are coming together under the Community Overdose Prevention Effort (C.O.P.E.).

C.O.P.E. partners include Baldwin County Community Alliance, Coastal Alabama Community College, Door to Serenity, Fairhope Police Department, People Engaged in Recovery, and Thomas Hospital.
