Congregational Vitality Assessment (CVA) Survey

Please take the on-line survey

The Diocese of West Missouri has launched a Congregational Vitality Assessment (CVA) tool to provide meaningful insights into the health and sustainability of all the diocesan churches. This comprehensive assessment explores 11 critical areas of church life:

Vision, Mission, and Discernment

Lay Engagement and Empowerment

Context Awareness and Inclusion

Change Readiness

Managing Differences and Conflict

Worship

Spiritual Life

Formation, Education, and Training

Outreach

Leadership and Organization

Stewardship

The CVA offers a nuanced approach to congregational assessment by scoring each area individually. This tool recognizes that every congregation has unique strengths and challenges. It’s not about creating a competitive ranking with other churches, but instead about understanding and supporting our own church.

All members of the Church of the Resurrection are requested to complete the survey on-line by clicking on this link. The survey takes 20-30 minutes to complete and is open until Feb 17.

After all surveys are collected, the Diocese will then schedule a meeting with the Vestry in March or April.

Thank you from St. Michael's

For recent Necessity Pantry donations

To the people of the Church of the Resurrection:

I want to express my gratitude for Resurrection's donation of $1,079 to the Pantry.

Your support makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. All donations help cover the cost product for the growing number of people in need - our neighbors. Thank you!
