All-Church Mission Sunday & Thanksgiving Food Drive
November 15 9:45 AM | High Court
As part of our 90th Anniversary celebration, we are excited to combine our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive with our All-Church Mission Sunday. This special morning in the high court was organized by our Sunday School classes who welcome all church members to participate. We’ve set a goal to donate 90 fully stocked bags of groceries, along with 90 manual can openers. It’s time to start filling those empty paper bags you picked up after worship service last Sunday! (If you missed it, you can still grab one at the back of the sanctuary today). Please return your filled bags on Sunday, November 15, to help us reach this milestone.
The most-needed pantry and household items are listed below.
- Hearty Soups
- Dry Pasta & Pasta Sauce
- Canned Fruits & Vegetables
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Tuna or Chicken
- Boxed Dry Cereal
- Granola Bars
- Toilet Paper & Bar Soap
- Diapers (sizes 5 & 6)
Then, roll up your sleeves and participate in our hands-on service projects, which include packaging beans and rice for the Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) and decorating brown paper bags for Kids’ Meals. Let’s share our harvest and make this anniversary milestone our most impactful season of giving yet!

Children's Coat Drive
Now through November 29
Winter may take its time getting to Texas, but it eventually arrives, and no child should have to brave the cold without a proper jacket. Each year, your incredible generosity helps us provide winter coats to children in need, and we are thrilled to start collecting again. All the coats we collect will go directly to the students at Shearn Elementary School.
How to donate: Simply bring your new or gently used coats and jackets and place them in one of our designated drop boxes.
Where to go: You’ll find collection bins waiting for you in the Church Office, the Preschool, and the Narthex of the Sanctuary.
Let’s fill those boxes and make sure no child is left out in the cold!

We are partnering once again with the Brookwood Community—a God-centered community for adults with functional disabilities—to offer poinsettia dedications. By ordering a poinsettia, you can honor or remember a loved one and support Brookwood's incredible mission.
