Dear Mai Yang,

Summer is in full swing!

As the days grow longer and the sun shines brighter, we’re feeling the energy and warmth of summer across all of our programs.

Last month- we shined a special light on our dedicated Certified Home Health Aides—the quiet heroes who provide hands-on care with compassion and skill, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and families every day. They light up the lives of our patients just like the fireworks on the 4th of July. Thank you again to all of our dedicated Aides.

We are also mindful that summer marks the beginning of fire season in our region. As always, we remain vigilant and prepared to support our patients and staff through any challenges that may arise.

Thank you for being part of our mission this summer and always!

Music That Moves Us

Music on Wheels is a proud partnership between Foothills Compassionate Care and InConcert Sierra.

This program brings high-caliber, live performances into retirement homes, making music accessible for those who may no longer be able to attend traditional concerts. We believe music is essential — it builds community, brings joy, and nourishes the soul.

This month, our Music on Wheels program brought truly unforgettable performances to local assisted living residents, featuring harpist Sage Po. Her music filled the room — and our hearts — with beauty and peace.

Sage Po holds a BFA in harp performance and a certificate in music education from Carnegie Mellon University. She has performed with orchestras, symphonies, and festivals across the region, and now leads the elementary music team and youth choirs in the Roseville City School District.

Special thanks to our program sponsors:

  • Economy Pest Control

Honoring Those Who Served

We are proud to be a 4-star partner with We Honor Veterans, a national program recognizing hospice agencies that provide specialized care and support for veterans at the end of life. This partnership reflects our commitment to understanding and meeting the unique needs of those who have served in the military.

Veterans often carry experiences that shape their end-of-life journey in powerful ways. Through We Honor Veterans, our team receives ongoing training and resources to deliver compassionate, informed care—ensuring that no veteran faces their final chapter alone or unrecognized.

This distinction isn’t just a badge—it’s a promise. A promise to listen, to understand, and to honor every veteran in our care with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Estate Planning Survey

We’re exploring how to better support our community in planning for the future. Your input will help us shape future action that meets real needs—whether you're just getting started or already have a plan in place. This quick survey takes just a few minutes and your responses will remain confidential, unless you choose to provide contact information.
