| | | YCL 2025 Annual Boat Cruise: Recap | | |
The YCL Boat Cruise, held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, was truly one for the books. With a touch of country style, it was our best one yet!
This sold-out event was a massive hit! The YCL Committee went with the western theme, and the 280 attendees showed up in full spirit, rocking their best cowboy hats, denim, and boots.
Although the weather was a bit gloomy, it did not dampen the energy on board. Guests enjoyed a scenic cruise across Lake Ontario, taking in the beautiful Toronto skyline while enjoying delicious appetizers, fantastic music, and engaging in great conversations.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the night such a memorable success.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, TCA is now commissioning statutory declarations virtually for our members.
If you require the signature of a commissioner of oaths, the virtual commissioning process will be as follows:

Email us at statdec@tcaconnect.com to set up the video conference.
- Commissioning staff will ask for identification in order to verify the member's identity. Have your picture identification ready.
- Once confirmed you will sign the Statutory Declarations while the commissioning staff witness. You will then need to scan and send it by email.
- Once received, the commissioning staff will print and verify the signature that they witnessed and if everything is satisfactory, they will sign and email it back.

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to interpret and utilize legal survey plans. Through theoretical instruction and practical exercises, participants develop a comprehensive understanding of the various components of a survey plan, its importance and applications in the real estate and property development sector.

iQ Offices opens 302 Bay flagship space in Toronto
TORONTO — iQ Offices, a Canadian co-working operator, recently announced the grand opening of 302 Bay, a historic 14-storey heritage building in Toronto’s Financial District that has been transformed into a next-generation workplace.
The space features a four-floor amenity program, a hospitality-grade design and unique shared work spaces, explains a release.
Highlights of the project include:
- Six wellness rooms and a thermotherapy suite including two cold plunges and a large cedar sauna, plus showers and towel
- Games room with convertible billiards table.
- A full-time staffed barista bar serving drinks, breakout areas and kitchens on every floor.
- A south facing rooftop terrace.
- Nine bookable meeting rooms.
- Phone booths, enterprise grade connectivity, printing stations, onsite
- Direct PATH access.
- A member’s entrance off of Bay
The office building originally opened in 1917 and secured its heritage designation in 1976. To this day, the building is revered for its exemplary “temple” style architecture, Art Deco motifs and majestic ground floor reception, indicates the release.
The renovation efforts fused technology and functional design and were carried out in partnership with architectural design firm Arcadis and heritage building preservation experts ERA Architects.
iQ Offices also restored the building’s famed Grand Banking Hall.
