After months of planning and preparation, the sixteen (16) travelers in our Scotland entourage will fly out of JFK this Saturday. Our itinerary will take us first to Glasgow and the isle of Iona on the western coast. We will then turn back east, passing through the Highland valley of Glencoe on the way to the cities of Perth, St. Andrews, and Edinburgh. Along the way, we will explore the rich history of the Protestant Reformation as the Church of Scotland emerged out of the social, political, and military turmoil of the 16th and 17th centuries.
Each day, I will be sharing images and tales from the road through social media. As we welcome your prayers for safe travels, helpful learning, and happy fellowship, we invite you to follow along as we take this spiritual journey together.
