| HEARTS OF MIROMAR | WEEKLY UPDATE | | | |
We’ve got an important update to share! As many of you know, the clubhouse has been undergoing repairs since the fire. Erin and the team are making wonderful progress, and their goal is to reopen (with the exception of the theater, which is being converted into a new multi-purpose room) by the end of October.
With that in mind, our November luncheon has been rescheduled to Monday, November 10, and we’re planning to gather in the clubhouse — provided it’s ready to welcome us back by then. We made this adjustment now in hopes of avoiding any last-minute changes to your calendars.
Thank you for your flexibility as we adjust. We’re excited for the day we can walk back into the clubhouse dining room together! 💕

Just for Fun – Poll Results!
Last week we asked: Which “little luxury” makes your day feel extra special? 🌸📚🎶
Here’s what our 43 voters had to say:
-
🌸 A fresh bouquet of flowers on the table bloomed into the top spot with 35% of the votes!
-
📖 Curling up with a good book turned the page into second place at 26%.
-
🎶 Listening to music that makes you smile struck a happy chord with 21%.
-
👗 Dressing up—just because! and 🍫 a piece (or two!) of chocolate tied at 7% each.
-
☕ A cozy cup of coffee or tea warmed hearts with 5%.
What a delightful reminder that it’s the little things that bring us joy. ✨ Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun—stay tuned for our next poll!

Book Club News
Our October book selection is Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh, with discussion led by Denise Weiner. Gift from the Sea is a reflective and lyrical work that explores themes of solitude, love, and the complexities of modern life — all beautifully woven through the metaphor of the sea.
Denise encourages you to purchase your own copy so you can jot down thoughts and reflections as you read — this is a book you’ll likely return to again and again for fresh insights over the years.
We’ll meet on Monday, October 27, at 5:30 PM, currently scheduled for the Card Room at the Beach Clubhouse. Please note: the location may change if the clubhouse does not reopen, and we’ll keep you updated.
