Important Message About Sunday Worship

Dear friends at Second: we have recently determined that the Chapel has some structural issues we need to investigate and address. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, we will be closing the Chapel for the foreseeable future and will move this Sunday’s worship (9/6) to the Sanctuary. When we begin our two-service schedule (on 9/20), the 8:30 service will meet in Smith Hall until any issues are resolved. The 8:30 service will not be livestreamed. We have engaged professionals to evaluate what is causing the issues and work together to develop the best solution. We will keep you posted as information becomes available. Thanks for your patience, flexibility, and prayers!
