Invite the Right People In

By Jon Marshall, Owner of Suncoast NPI

All year long, we have been talking about The Power of Purpose: Why We Do What

We Do. We started with our own purpose, then worked our way through the reasons we invest in Suncoast NPI. We talked about making money, building relationships, becoming a stronger resource, continuing our education, improving our speaking and listening skills, serving others, and building real friendships along the way.

Now we get to do something with all of it.

November is about Rallying Others to the Cause. It is about taking everything we have learned about who we are and sharing it with the professionals outside our organization who would fit here, contribute here, and help us become even stronger. There are plenty of networking options out there. Tampa Bay may be one of the most networked places in the country. Breakfast groups, lunch groups, happy hours, referral organizations, chambers, business associations, you name it. Someone looking for a place to network has no shortage of choices.

So why Suncoast NPI?

That answer lives in our purpose and in the culture we have built around it. We want rock stars in every seat. We want people with a servant’s heart. We want professionals who are committed to the commitment. We want people who care about their businesses, care about each other, care about their communities, and understand that success gets better when it is shared.

That is the story worth telling.

Think about why you joined. Maybe someone invited you. Maybe you visited and immediately felt the energy. Maybe you saw members helping one another, laughing together, celebrating closed business, serving the community, and actually enjoying the people around them. Whatever convinced you to become part of Suncoast NPI is probably the same thing that could inspire someone else.

And that is where you come in.

Every member is an ambassador for this organization. You know professionals who would thrive here. You know business owners who are excellent at what they do and would benefit from stronger relationships. You know people who serve others naturally, follow through on their commitments, and would add something meaningful to the Chapter.

Tell them why you thought of them.

Do not make the invitation complicated. Share your own story. Tell them what Suncoast NPI has meant to your business, your relationships, or your growth. Explain what makes this organization different in your experience. Then invite them to come see it for themselves.

The goal is bigger than increasing membership. We are building the future of Suncoast NPI. Every new member changes a chapter. Every new chapter expands our reach. Every great professional we bring into this organization creates new relationships, new opportunities, new service, and new possibilities for everyone around them.

That makes each of us both a beneficiary and a builder.

Someone helped create the Suncoast NPI you joined. Someone protected the culture. Someone invited the right people. Someone believed this organization could become something bigger. Now we get our turn.

So here is my challenge for November. Think of one professional who represents what Suncoast NPI stands for. Someone talented. Someone dependable. Someone with a servant’s heart. Tell them why you believe they would fit here, share what this organization has meant to you, and personally invite them to experience a meeting.

When we live our purpose clearly and share why Suncoast NPI is different, we attract

our people, strengthen our community, and grow the mission together.

Our people are out there.

Let’s go find them.

In abundance, Jon

Rallying Others to the Cause: Making a Difference Together

Dr. Michael Turner | Champion Wellness Centers | Suncoast NPI – Westchase

I knew I wanted to become a chiropractor when I was just 14 years old. I watched a chiropractor help my older brother, and that experience planted a seed that would ultimately shape my career. After graduating from Countryside High School, attending Florida State University, and earning my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Life University, I began pursuing that purpose: helping people feel better, move better, and live healthier lives.

Today, through Champion Wellness Centers, we help patients with everything from corrective spinal rehabilitation and car accident injuries to spinal decompression, shockwave therapy, Class IV laser therapy, and dry needling. Our goal is to give people options, help them understand their conditions, and support them in getting back to the activities they love.

Over the years, I've learned something important: You can make a difference on your own, but you can make a much bigger difference when you rally others around a shared purpose.

That philosophy extends beyond our office and into our community. Each year, we bring people together through our March Madness fundraiser to support our local VFW. We also support the Children's Cancer Center of Tampa, including efforts to bring presents and a little extra joy to children and families facing difficult circumstances. These efforts remind me that when people unite around a cause, even small individual contributions can add up to something meaningful. It's not about one person doing everything; it's about getting more people involved in doing something good.

That same idea applies to our professional relationships. There are people who need help but don't know where to turn. Sometimes, the best thing we can do is connect them with the right person. A patient may need a service we don't provide, or a business owner may need a connection that changes the direction of their business. When we build relationships with people who genuinely care about helping others, we become part of something much bigger than ourselves.

That's one of the things I appreciate about Suncoast NPI. It isn't simply about exchanging business cards or looking for referrals. It's about building trust, learning what other professionals do, and becoming a resource for one another. The more we understand each other's businesses and the people we serve, the better equipped we are to make meaningful connections.

I've also learned that rallying others starts with how we lead ourselves. In our office, I want our team to understand that every conversation, phone call, and interaction is an opportunity to make someone feel heard, valued, and cared for. When people understand the purpose behind their work, it becomes about more than completing tasks. It becomes about making a difference.

Ultimately, rallying others to the cause means helping people see that they have something valuable to contribute. We don't all have to do the same thing. We just have to be willing to work together, support one another, and keep the bigger purpose in mind.

Because when we pull together, we can accomplish far more than any of us could alone.

We Have Been Listening...

Suncoast NPI Momentum is the next evolution of our member tracking experience, built around feedback from the members who use it every week.

You will find an easier login experience, a cleaner interface, smarter One-to-One tracking, interactive notifications, and stronger reporting tools for chapter leadership.

The goal is simple: make Momentum easier to use, more helpful, and more connected to the relationships you are already building through Suncoast NPI.

This is also the foundation for what comes next, including a future standalone mobile app.

Momentum has LAUNCHED! Jump in, use it, test it, and keep the feedback coming. The more we use it together, the better we can make it. See Momentum HERE.
