Chamber Welcomes Three New Members

Jumping into the fall season, the Chamber is thrilled to announce a new member, QC Kinetix. A pioneer in regenerative medicine, QC Kinetix has a clear objective: to use the body’s natural healing properties to help joints heal and regenerate tissue naturally.

With nearly 200 clinics and over 33,000 patients, QC Kinetix is a national leader in regenerative medicine for chronic joint pain. In 2020, QC Kinetix expanded to Greenville, NC, marking an important step in its growth in eastern North Carolina.

QC Kinetix’s treatments use stem cells, plasma (PRP), and growth proteins (growth factors) to support the body’s healing process. This approach helps patients recover effectively — without the need for prescription drugs or downtime from surgery.

Their process is simple and easy, so that patients have no additional worry beyond treating their joint pain. QC Kinetix provides a free, comprehensive medical consultation–no referral required–to determine if you are a candidate for regenerative medicine. Dr. Mitchell Sheinkop, an orthopedic surgeon with more than 37 years of experience at Rush University Medical Center, leads the development of QC Kinetix’s treatment. Under his oversight, QC Kinetix’s team carefully reviews each patient's plan, timeline, and investment, and with many enduring chronic pain for years, nearly 90% begin treatment immediately following consultation.

QC Kinetix cares deeply about the community that surrounds it, not only by equipping those within the community with alternative solutions to surgery for chronic joint pain, but also through its support of local organizations, including Riley’s Army, JOY Community Center & Soup Kitchen, and the Pitt County Council on Aging. The Winterville Chamber family is excited to welcome Intuitive Health Direct Primary Care, a new and innovative healthcare provider redefining what it means to receive personal, affordable, and comprehensive care.

Founded and led by Dr. Arthur Caputo, a Navy veteran and seasoned physician with over 26 years of experience, Intuitive Health offers a refreshing alternative to traditional

healthcare. After years of working in occupational health, OBGYN, and at the VA Clinic, Dr. Caputo saw firsthand the growing frustrations of high costs, long waits, and short visits. His response was clear: create a better way to care for people.

Launched in January 2025, Intuitive Health is a membership-based, no-insurance clinic that eliminates deductibles, copays, and red tape. Members get to enjoy unlimited visits and direct access to Dr. Caputo, who intentionally limits his patient load to ensure everyone receives the time and attention they deserve. The practice emphasizes functional medicine, focusing on treating the root causes of health issues rather than just putting a band-aid on them. Intuitive Health recently expanded to include a medical and aesthetics division, offering services such as

laser hair and sun-damage treatments, tattoo removal, hair restoration, and IV therapy. As a

dispensing physician, Dr. Caputo can provide many necessary medications on-site, saving patients both time and money.

Partnered with ATS (Advantage Therapy Solutions), Intuitive Health is committed to whole-body wellness, combining medical expertise with personalized attention under Dr.

Caputo’s compassionate leadership. Living by his patient-first philosophy, the practice isn’t just another clinic; it’s a movement toward healthcare that truly cares.

Ribbon Cutting

This month we celebrated the ribbon cutting for Ripe For Revival's Winterville Mobile Market!

Their mission is to combat food insecurity through a “take what you need, pay what you can” system. The market is open every Thursday, 2:30–4 PM at the Market Square lot (252 Main Street), offering fresh, local produce. You can also purchase vouchers to pay it forward and support neighbors in need.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us - including Mayor Ricky Hines, Councilwoman Dr. Brandy Harrell, and Sheriff Paula Dance - for helping us welcome this incredible resource to Winterville!

Thanksgiving Meals Initiative

We’re gearing up for another year of giving through our Thanksgiving Meals Initiative!

This marks our 5th year of bringing the community together to support local families in need during the holiday season.

How it works:

  • We partner with PCS social workers to identify families in the Winterville area who need a little extra help this season.
  • We collect donations to cover as many meals as possible.
  • The meals are then distributed to the families the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

How you can help:

  • Donate: Each family's meal costs $70 *checks are preferred, but online donations are accepted here*.
  • Share: Help spread the word with your friends, family, and colleagues to help us reach our goal of 80 families fed.
  • Volunteer: We need helping hands to assist with meal pickup, organization, and distribution.

For Christmas, we will again use vendor fees for the Christmas Market as a donation to the Winterville Police Department's Shop with a Cop program! You can also make donations directly to the dpt, or through us, to help support their mission of providing a full Christmas to families in Winterville.
