You don’t have to figure out reading alone.

Dear homeschool families,

You know your child better than anyone. If reading has been a daily struggle at your kitchen table, even with lots of practice and patience, dyslexia may be part of the picture. And it’s more common than many parents realize.

That’s why we opened seats in our homeschool program just for families like yours. Everything you need to know is on the flyer below.

Flyer: Free dyslexia intervention for homeschooled students in grades K–12. Monday through Thursday, 2 to 3 PM, free, with no more than 5 students per class. Call (210) 222-1645 to enroll.
Free · Grades K–12 · Mon–Thu, 2–3 PM
NOT SURE IF THIS IS FOR YOUR CHILD?
A few signs worth a closer look
•Trouble connecting letters to their sounds, or forgetting sounds they learned last week
•Guessing at words from the first letter or the pictures
•Slow, tiring reading, even on familiar words
•Spelling the same word several different ways
•Big ideas out loud, but a real struggle getting them onto paper
•A parent or relative who also found reading hard

Sound familiar? Give us a call. We’re happy to talk through what you’re seeing, with no pressure.

Help us reach more homeschool families
Word of mouth is the best way to reach homeschool families. Please forward this email or share the flyer with your co-op, church group or homeschool Facebook group. You could help a child who’s been struggling finally start to read with confidence.

With gratitude,

Janet Flory
