Sincerely Yours Co-Founder & YouTube Creator Jordan Matter Leads Student Pitch Competition

Over 100 students at Bethune Middle School participated in a YouTube channel pitch competition led by creator and Sincerely Yours co-founder Jordan Matter.

Sincerely Yours, a skincare brand created in collaboration with the next generation, donates 1% of all profits to Girls Inc. LA.

During the session, students worked in teams to develop and pitch their channel concepts. Six groups were selected to present, receiving real-time feedback from Jordan. Three groups were awarded top prizes.

Every student had the opportunity to meet Jordan, take photos and take home Sincerely Yours sunscreen and cleanser.

Students left with meaningful connections to a creative industry leader and the confidence to see themselves in that space.

Reimagining Spaces for Girls with Meridith Baer Home

Longtime partner Meridith Baer Home recently transformed a classroom for our girls at Stoner Avenue Elementary.

Since 2021, Meridith Baer Home has invested in our programs and created safe, welcoming spaces across our partner schools where girls can learn and be themselves.

When asked why she continues this work, Founder and CEO Meridith Baer shared:

"We care deeply about these girls and the potential they have when given the right environment to thrive. We want them to feel seen, supported and joyful in a space that inspires confidence, creativity and growth. Seeing their excitement - and the pride they take in their transformed classroom - makes it all more than worth it."

Harnessing Your Power Through Music

Children in Harmony hosted a Fun Friday at Stoner Avenue Elementary, introducing our girls to the building blocks of music like rhythm, pitch, beats and tempo.

Working in small groups, they created and performed their own songs, developing new skills and discovering music as a powerful form of self-expression.
