Partner of the Month
Coastal BUDS
Family Picnic: June 13, 3-6 PM
iCan Swim Camp: August 9-13
CF Buddy Walk: October 9
Coastal BUDS raises awareness and educates the community to encourage understanding and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome and their families. They provide a variety of resources to accommodate the needs of kids with Down Syndrome and support parents raising these incredible children. Coastal BUDS events celebrate the differences that make these kids unique - their superpower of having a full and partial extra copy of chromosome 21.
Coastal BUDS is seeking volunteers for their iCan Swim Camp and sponsors for their swimmers at $125 each. Swim lessons are critically important for Down syndrome youth who can be fearless, especially in our water-prone community.
They will host a picnic at Long Leaf Park this weekend for families affected by Down Syndrome. Please mark your calendars for the annual Buddy Walk in October.
