We wish everyone a great start to the summer! We hope that it is relaxing, fun, and very memorable. This will be our final update of the 22 -23 school year. We want to share our thanks and appreciation to our students, staff, families, and community for a great year of learning and fun. We wish special congratulations to the class of 2027!

There will be periodic updates throughout the summer with a transition to a new principal and assistant principal, and to help our families prepare for the 23 - 24 school year.

It has been a pleasure serving as your principal for the 22 - 23 school year! Have a wonderful summer.

2023-2024 Returning Student Registration

Returning families are expected to complete the on-line registration. I would like to extend my gratitude to the over 500 families that have already completed the online process—WAY TO GO! Families still needing to complete this process need to login to Home Access Center and complete the Update Enrollment. YOR011 - Yorkville Middle School

Please refer to each school's code when ordering. All school supply kits will be delivered directly to your home. Shipping costs are included in the price of each kit. Sales tax will be added to the kit price. The last day to place an online order is June 25.

Families of 8th grade students who were not in attendance on the last day, please contact the main office to arrange to pick up your child's promotion certificate.

Notes from the Student Services Office

Summer is here, which means the YMS Student Services Office will be closed until the start of the next school year. We remind students and families that the student services check in form will not be available for students during the summer months. If you or someone you know is in danger of being harmed, please contact a trusted adult immediately or dial 911. Additionally, the Y Not Say Something Tip Line is also available for non-emergency related concerns.

We enjoyed a web slinging day seeing Across The Spiderverse and then a comic book store visit with 24 great @115yms students!

The United City of Yorkville and Yorkville Educational Foundation are excited to announce the FORE Yorkville Golf Outing details for 2023! Join us at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course on Thursday, June 15 for a day of networking, food, and golf all while supporting the Yorkville Community! Funds generated from this golf outing supports the innovative educational and recreation programs and facilities that enhance experiences for the Yorkville community and students we serve.
