Dear Neighbors,

It is beach time! Entrance to all the Town of Westport beaches is free and open to the public except from May 1 to

Sept. 30. Parking emblems go on sale March 13th. Here is what you need to know.

Parking emblems are required to park at the following locations: PURCHASE NOW!  

  • Compo Beach - May 1 to Sept. 30

During the season Compo Beach and Burying Hill Beach may be accessed by paying a daily fee at the gate. Access to Old Mill Beach is for residents only who have purchased a current parking emblem.


Fees for the parking emblems are based on the current registration of the vehicle (Tax Town). Check your registration for the Tax Town (158).  Westport Residents and/or Non-Residents with vehicles paying taxes to a town other than Westport are subject to a higher fee.


WESTON RESIDENTS

Non-Resident parking emblems will be available for purchase for $545 plus sales tax as of Wednesday, March 13, 2024 online.

During the season emblems will be available for purchase online and at the Westport Parks and Recreation office through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • Customers must bring a valid driver's license and a copy of the current vehicle registration. 

LOGGING IN

If you have purchased a non-resident emblem or participated in any of our programs in prior seasons, you already have an online account established. Once you have logged into your account choose memberships and in the search box type "non-resident" and it will bring the package to the top of the page.


Please check your online account now to make sure you are all set to purchase beach passes. If you are unable to login into your account, please do not create another account. If you've forgotten your login or password, you may choose "forgot login" or "forgot password" on the Parks and Recreation login page to reset your account. Still having difficulty? NEIGHBORING TOWNS BEACH INFORMATION

GREENWICH: Required from May 1 - October 31.

OnePass is the all-in-one seasonal pass for parks, golf, tennis & pickleball and marine facility privileges that is renewed by residents annually with the pass options they would like to purchase.

Seasonal options are available for purchase and renewal by verified residents online. Information


FAIRFIELD

Beach passes are available to residents and non-residents. Check out all the information here


DARIEN

The Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting applications for beach permits starting March 6th at 10am. Stickers are available to Darien residents and taxpayers only. Proof of residency must be presented in the form of current motor vehicle registration to Darien address.

NORWALK

To park at the Norwalk beach and parks (Veteran’s Park, Cranbury Park, Taylor Farm, Calf Pasture, and Shady Beaches): 

First- After April 1st every year you will verify that your Norwalk registered vehicle is on our grand list. https://hub.norwalkct.gov/passes/ If it is, you are all set! There is no paper pass or sticker for the beach and parks, we will scan your plate number after you park.  If you are a Norwalk resident and your car is NOT registered to Norwalk you can purchase a Beach and Parks pass for the season for $250.00. Details here
