Hello Scholar,

You can start earning free college credits now – even before the Fall semester begins. If you do, you may finish college faster and save money!

How? We recommend you take online courses this summer via our Partner, Modern States!

Modern States offers over 30 tuition-free online courses which prepare students for the College Board (CLEP) exams. If you pass the exam, you may get credits at your college in place of paying for the same class on campus. Courses are taught by professors from leading universities like Johns Hopkins, NYU, Columbia University, and more .

To learn more, watch this video.
"I thought the course was great…If you score above a certain level, they provide you with a voucher for the CLEP exam fee…I ended up paying nothing and got a total of 9 credits (Spanish 1, 2, and 3) with just one exam."

Patricia R., Trinity Washington University
NOTE: Not all colleges accept all CLEP exam credits. Before starting, check with your Scholar Advisor or on your college website to make sure your college will accept the CLEP credits for the course you plan to take.

Earning credits via Modern States is a smart way to save money, graduate faster and make your Scholarship award last longer. We encourage you to take advantage of this resource.
