Countdown to Election Day: Get informed and be prepared!

Voting in the 2026 General Election continues to ramp up as we count down the last few days of early voting and head into Election Day on Tuesday, November 3. This election will have contests at every level of government from federal representation all the way down the ballot to local offices including Mosquito Control and City Council for Marco Island.

Whether you decide to cast your ballot by mail or in person, it is important to have a plan for how you are going to vote. If you plan to cast your Vote-by-Mail ballot, don’t forget that all ballots need to be returned, not just postmarked, to the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 3.

Do you plan to vote in person? Early voting is a great option to work voting into your busy schedule with 11 early voting locations across the county that will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through October 31. Voters who still have a Vote-by-Mail ballot can also drop off their voted ballot to a Secure Ballot Intake Station at any early voting site while polls are open. You can view locations and wait times at CollierVotes.gov/EARLY.

If you plan to vote in person on Election Day, November 3, polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and you must vote in your assigned precinct. You can find your designated polling location at CollierVotes.gov. As a reminder, Election Day is the last opportunity to vote in the General Election.

Voters planning to vote in person are encouraged to bring their marked sample ballot with them to the polls to assist them in the voting process. Visit CollierVotes.gov to view your personalized sample ballot, research the contests that will appear on your ballot and make your voting plan!

Golden Gate High School Wins 13th Annual High School Voter Registration Challenge

The Collier County Supervisor of Elections office partnered with local Collier County high schools to challenge students to register and pre-register to vote.

This year’s challenge collected 871 voter registrations and pre-registrations, nearly doubling last year’s registration number. Golden Gate High School received 179 voter registration applications – the highest of all participating schools.

“Seeing 871 students take the important step of registering or pre-registering to vote is an incredible accomplishment. We are grateful to our participating schools for helping us connect students with the elections process, and we congratulate Golden Gate High School for leading this year’s challenge!” – Melissa R. Blazier, Supervisor of Elections.

The schools that participated in this year’s contest were, Aubrey Rogers High School, Barron Collier High School, First Baptist Academy, Golden Gate High School, Gulf Coast High School, Immokalee High School, Lely High School, Marco Island Academy, Naples High School, and Palmetto Ridge High School. An award was presented to the students and staff at Golden Gate High School on October 27, recognizing them for their outstanding achievement.

Art For Democracy

We are excited to announce our partnership with Collier County Public Schools and Champions For Learning for the 2026 Art for Democracy contest. A call for entries began on October 1, and students can submit a piece of artwork representing American history, the faces of democracy and the electoral process. This contest is a unique opportunity for student artists, of all ages and backgrounds, to celebrate civic engagement through their creative talents.

To learn more about this contest, visit CollierVotes.gov/ART.

They served once in uniform – now they are serving at the polls. Let's thank them twice!

The Collier County Supervisor of Elections office is proud to highlight some of our esteemed election workers who are also veterans including (from left) Major Alfred “Al” Winston veteran of the U.S. Army; Lieutenant Commander, Kathleen Lunday veteran of the U.S. Navy; and Sergeant Thomas McCullough, veteran of the U.S. Airforce.

We are currently holding a call for heroes to honor military men and women who have served in the U.S. Military. Nominate your hero at CollierVotes.gov/Veteran.

Why Wait? Vote Early in Collier County!

One of the best parts about voting early? You choose where you vote. Unlike on Election Day, when voters must report to their assigned polling location, registered Collier County voters can cast their ballot at any of the 11 early voting locations in the county.
