Dear Yoga Community,
BKS Iyengar wrote the quote above in his 90s, after 80 years of practicing yoga. It's inspiring to me that he continued to discover new things after so many years of yoga practice.
Next week, I will be leaving for my annual month-long study at the Iyengar Institute in India. This immersion with members of the Iyengar family and senior teachers includes daily yoga classes, personal practice time, class observations, library study, and more. The institute offers specialty classes for beginners, advanced students, women, seniors, medical needs, and children. It’s a wealth of learning and new discoveries, and I look forward to sharing more upon my return.
As both a teacher and student of yoga, this time is essential for my new learning, inspiration, and advancing my understanding. This will be passed on to you when I return in March!
Classes continue through January 29th and resume March 3rd. Below are some practice sequences developed by the Iyengar Institute of New York for you to practice while I am away.
Class passes: All current passes will automatically be extended for one month during my absence. Please note the upcoming price changes starting in March.
Best wishes, Kerry
