Mailbox Cleanup Project Next Week

We are beginning a project of cleaning up and updating labels for our mailboxes. If you have anything in a mailbox other than yours or if your mailbox is not labeled but you have things in one (or more) please let Holly know so we do not clean things out that belong to anyone. Thank you for your help.

GALILEE DUO AT MARTHA MERRELL’S BOOKS

Patricia DeBlaey and Pastor Frank Janzow return to Martha Merrell’s Books on October 23 from 6:30-8:30. Martha Merrell’s is located at 231 West Main Street in Waukesha.

We Need More Trunks for Trunk-or-Treat at Pumpkinfest

Check out the signup board in the narthex and sign up to decorate a trunk for Trunk-or-Treat. It is just trick-or-treat in our parking lot. Decorate the trunk of your car and hand out a treat or organize a game for the participants to play...or both!

Meet Xiaoxiao, Our New Choir Accompanist

Xiaoxiao has been playing the piano since she was five and has always loved sharing music with others. She especially enjoys how music can bring people together and create meaningful moments.

Outside of music, Xiaoxiao enjoys reading, watching anime and movies, exploring good food, and spending time with her cat, Caroline. She is very happy to be part of the Galilee community and looks forward to getting to know everyone.

New AED at Galilee

What is a green Zoll? Its a new AED at Galilee. The old AED has aged out. Joanie Bohlmann did some research and we agree this is the latest and greatest. It is located next to the Men's bathroom on the main level. There is a hyperlink below for anyone who wants to check out how the new AED works.

Thanks to all the Galileans that have learned how to use an AED. Joanie will start up with new classes sometime in December or January for anyone who wants to learn.

Please Be Careful with Emails

We have heard from several members this week that they have received invitations via email that they have clicked on and it resulted in their emails being either hacked or spoofed. Please be careful. If someone is asking for money, gift cards, or it would be unusual to receive a specific type of communication from a Galilee friend via email, it is a good idea to call that person directly rather than click or respond via email.
