Greetings!
Rail Station Studios and Art Gallery will host an evening of live music, wine and art on Saturday, August 14, 4:00-7:00p. Vocalist and musician, Lisa Bender, will delight with familiar tunes as well as original songs. This event benefits everychildtexas.org a charity providing critical help to special-needs individuals and their families. 
 
Stop by and see beautiful original art, hear wonderful music, enjoy tasty food and delicious wine. And best of all, you can help support Every Child Texas because 20% of all art sales on August 14 will be donated to this worthy charity.
 
The gallery is located in Plano’s Historic Downtown Arts District at 1013 15th Place. (Near the DART rail station) It is home to the work of seven top local artists as well as the studios for three of those artists.

Mixed Media
Using abstract and mixed media techniques, each creation is a visual representation of her faith journey. Life is painful, annoying, complex and heartbreaking. Each piece of art she creates is layered in meaning. Each piece highlights a distinct art element as a way of expressing a feeling or message.
James Gilbreath
Oil
James calls himself a "Texas Artist." Among his favorite subjects are Texas landscapes. He also creates beautiful "memorabilia still lifes" and vivid, colorful abstract paintings.
Gene Dillard
Oil
Gene specializes in portrait painting. He has painted hundreds of portrait commissions, as well as a wide array of other fine art works. Subjects include, men, women, children, executives, academic leaders, government officials and family groups. Paintings are generally painted from life sittings as the preferred technique. Website
Linda Smith
Oil
Linda paints a wide array of subjects including landscapes, florals, portraits and still lifes. She applies great discipline to her works that include colorful oils, watercolors and pastels.
Lana Browne
Oil

Lana specializes in bright colorful florals, landscapes and figurative paintings. Her works are full of life and spontaneity, vibrant hues and dramatic brushstrokes.
Sue Killingsworth
Oil
Sue's a full-time oil painter who enjoys painting commissions from her home studio in Garland, TX. She hopes to realistically capture her subjects’ appearances as well as their unique personality. 
When not in her studio, Sue can be found drawing inspiration from nature, gardening and travel.

Michael Holter
Watercolor
Michael is a world-famous watercolor artist who is known for vivid landscapes and figurative works. He has won major awards from Asia to Europe and throughout the US. He is also a remarkable watercolor instructor.
