On Thursday, April 12th, our ONE WILPF Call will feature
Professor Nancy Lee Wood of Bristol Community College in Massachusetts. Nancy teaches a course on The Sociology of Climate Change and the Need for Bio-Diversity.
Info you need... As members prepare to engage either individually or as branches in our first Solidarity Event of the year, having in our back pocket the information Nancy Lee Wood will present could be very useful. Individually and as WILPF, we should understand the era of bio-diversity-extinction our profit-driven EPA is ushering in. Will thousands of species and the planet be able to recover? And where are humans in the diminishing food chain?
Other Items on the Agenda
- Update on the upcoming (May-June) Days of Action for the Poor People's Campaign
- Update on internal structural and decision-making changes being planned at International WILPF... and our Section's attendance at the International Congress in Accra, Ghana in August, 2018.
