Celebrate Black History Month at Madison Public Library

This February, we invite you to honor the achievements of African Americans throughout history and in the present day at Madison Public Library. Throughout the month, we’ll host events and activities, including book discussions, film screenings, curated book lists, and other educational resources.

Inner Strength

This strength includes learning to stay flexible and calm during times of stress, taking care of your own needs, and growing from your experiences. Seeing this helps children learn from parents how to build their own inner strength.

Maintaining Inner Strength is important because it allows parents to…

  • Manage their own feelings
  • Solve problems with a clear head
  • Think about their own needs
  • Shelter their children from too much stress during difficult times

Volunteer Appreciation Month: Thank You, Parent Volunteers!

Your time and willingness to show up make a real difference for families in our community. Your involvement helps shape programs that are more responsive, inclusive, and grounded in what families truly need. Thank you for giving your time, sharing your strengths, and being such an important part of the 4-C community. We couldn’t do this work without you, and we’re so glad to do it with you. 💐
