| | Message from Principal Hamilton | Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 30th Anniversary Gala! It was a joy to celebrate our community together, and seeing so many dressed for our 1920s Gatsby-themed evening made the night even more special. While we thanked our sponsors, donors, and volunteers earlier this week, I want to again express my sincere gratitude for the tremendous work of our gala committee and for the generosity of our families and friends. I was truly touched by the spirit and love that I witnessed last Saturday. | As I mentioned at Curriculum Night, our school is undergoing accreditation this year. This week, students in grades 3–8 completed their surveys. Now, we ask parents to complete the following surveys, which help us measure our Catholic identity and gather feedback across all areas of school life. Please reach out if you have any questions. | Looking ahead to next month: | - Term 1 ends tomorrow. Report cards will be emailed on December 1.
| - MAP testing has been moved to the week of December 8 (Tuesday–Thursday). Please ensure students are well-rested. Students who miss testing will need to complete make-ups before school or on a Saturday so they do not miss instructional time.
| - Friday, December 5: Bishop Hicks will visit our school. All-School Mass will be at 9:00 a.m., followed by the presentation of the Semper Altius Award and a school tour.
| - Monday, December 8: Fr. Andrew will celebrate Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Although the obligation is lifted this year, we will celebrate our All-School Mass that morning. There will be no Friday Mass on December 12.
| - Friday, December 12: Middle school will celebrate a Spanish class Mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
| - Saturday, December 13: Please register for our Preschool Breakfast in Bethlehem. Details and the registration link are provided below.
| As we approach Thanksgiving, we are also preparing for Advent. Tomorrow your child will bring home an Advent prayer book with daily reflections, a gift from St. James of the Sag Bridge Mission Society. | We are also launching our annual Advent Giving Tree service project. This is a cherished opportunity for our students and families to live our faith by supporting those in need within our community. | May you and your family enjoy a faith-filled and joyful Thanksgiving Break! | Rejoicing in gratitude for God's blessings, | | We were grateful to welcome Fr. Michael back on Monday. His presence at our All-School Mass—and his visit with students throughout the day—made it feel like old times. I’m sure you enjoyed seeing him at car line as well! | | As the weather gets cooler, please remember to send your child to school each day with a coat, hat, and gloves. Our students go outside for recess whenever possible, and we want everyone to stay warm and comfortable while enjoying fresh air and playtime! | | Registration Open: Boys 5th-7th Basketball | | All students must have a current sports physical in order to practice/play in the games! | | As Everest Academy celebrates 30 years, we invite you to be part of our future through the 30 for 30 Campaign. Each project represents a meaningful step forward — from enhancing our campus and enriching student experiences to strengthening the faith-based mission at the heart of our school. | Choose the project that inspires you most and make your gift today. Together, we can ensure Everest continues to thrive for the next 30 years and beyond. | |

Inspire them to notice the blessings around them — in their families, classmates, teachers, and community — and to respond with thankful hearts. Holy Spirit, help them cultivate a spirit of appreciation that brings joy, unity, and encouragement to all they meet. | → For the repose of the soul of Mrs. Julie Kolenda, the mother of Father Andrew: May the Lord welcome her into eternal rest and surround Father Andrew and his family with comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time. Let us commend Julie to God’s loving mercy and keep the Kolenda family close in our prayers. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. | | Everest Academy is an independent PK-8th grade Catholic school committed to providing the highest quality education while cultivating the whole human person: intellectually, humanly, spiritually, and apostolically.
