AKG newsworthy NOLA #3
As our global community was hit by the Covid-19 crisis, we were called to action on a different front, one for social justice. To that end, Marcin Owczarek created an amazing print to illustrate the artists of the gallery, working together to keep art and solidarity of purpose in the forefront of our minds. This beautiful print is raising money for The Peoples Institute, recognized as one of the foremost anti-racism training and organizing institutions in the nation.

The People’s Institute leads Undoing Racism ® Workshops, going beyond addressing the symptoms of racism, to undoing the causes of racism, to create a more just and equitable society.

With COVID on the rise again, please remember to wear a mask when you are outside. It's the right thing to do.

Now, safely, check out some art!

"If the zodiac is a music of the spheres, opening the way to the "Know yourself and you will know the universe and its Gods" then the score written by Anne Bachelier invites to this path of meditation whose royalty goes back to the dawn of time and which manifests the laws of cosmic wisdom."

STILL FEATURING
CHARLES THYSELL
CHARLES THYSELL who left our lives in April 2020 after a long battle with cancer, shared a body of work with me just a few weeks before he died that included 8 beautiful nudes. He painted them over several years and we are so pleased to have them to share with you. Here is a look at his evocative and sensual, simple and profound paintings of the female figure.
