INTERNATIONAL

OBSERVE THE MOON NIGHT

SATURDAY, SEPT 19

7-10 PM

in our Astronomy Center & Planetarium

Celebrate an International NASA-led Event with Us!

On this special evening at the SM&NC, choose between two live, Moon-focused editions of our signature Stamford Skies Planetarium Show at 7:30 or 8:30 pm, then stay for an evening of lunar discovery.

Join us and people around the world for International Observe the Moon Night, an annual NASA-led celebration that brings communities together to learn about, observe and celebrate our closest celestial neighbor.

Explore Moon-themed crafts and demonstrations in the Lounge, and, weather permitting, visit our Observatory and explore the night sky through telescopes outside the Astronomy Center. Have your own telescope? Bring it along!

Your ticket is for one of the two Stamford Skies showtimes, but you’re invited to enjoy the full evening of activities before or after your show. Whether you’re a dedicated Moon watcher or simply curious to look up, you’ll be part of a worldwide community celebrating the Moon together.
