BOOK FAIR (MAY 13-16)

The Book Fair is coming up soon! 

Butler’s Spring Book Fair is Monday, May 13 through Thursday, May 16. Book Fair flyers will be coming home soon. These flyers provide just a sampling of the books available at the Book Fair. Book Fair purchases can be made with cash, credit card (parent must be present with card), checks made out to Butler PTO, or eWallet.

Thanks to the success of our Fall Book Fair, we will be offering $5* Scholastic Bucks to every student at Butler! That $5* can go towards the purchase of any book at the Book Fair (no accessories). No coupon required – we will apply the $5 at the register. *$5 credit does not include sales tax and must be redeemed in person. Sorry, we cannot apply the $5 credit towards an online book order.

BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We need parent volunteers for assistance with student book selection and clean up. Sign up to volunteer at the Book Fair here. You can view what time your child's class is scheduled to attend the Book Fair here. You can sign up to help any time, not just when your child is scheduled to go to the Book Fair.

E-WALLET

eWallet is now live!! See how it works and sign up here. eWallet is a virtual gift card program through Scholastic. The money you add to the eWallet remains on your eWallet. If there are unused funds after EACH fair, you can save it for the next fair, or use it on the Scholastic sites. Unused eWallet funds convert to an e-gift card. Families receive a monthly email with their balance which can be used to fund the eWallet for this fair.  

Each child will need their own eWallet. To help build your teacher’s classroom library, please fund the teacher's eWallet separately from your child’s.

***Attention 1st and 2nd grade Lunch Helpers***

Lunch times are different part of this this week to accommodate the PSSAs. The following days have an adjusted lunch schedule:

• Monday 4/29
• Tuesday 4/30

On these days 1st graders and EDK have Lunch from 11-11:30am, and 2nd graders have Lunch from 11:30am-12pm.

TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK (MAY 6-10)

Thanks to everyone who signed up to donate food or drink items for Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week (May 6-May 10). All sign-ups have been filled!
