About the accountability system:

The Texas A-F accountability system is a fair, rigorous, and transparent tool for measuring campus and school district performance. Ratings are one of many ways to determine how well your child’s school is preparing your child for the next grade level and success after high school. Teachers and schools also use rating information to improve practices and instructional approaches for the new school year and beyond. 

The Texas A–F accountability system reflects three system objectives: grade-level rigor for students, fairness for districts and campuses, and transparency for parents and the public to ensure our state continues to work towards becoming a national leader in preparing students for success after graduation.
