HIGHLIGHTS of September 2026 | E-Newsletter Issue #94

A Word from the President

Dear Friends of Makhzoumi Foundation,

We have always believed that meaningful change begins with people. It begins by listening to their needs, understanding their challenges, and creating opportunities that help them build better lives for their communities.

Throughout September, this commitment was reflected in the many activities carried out across our programs and units. From expanding educational opportunities through new partnerships and empowering educators with innovative approaches, to strengthening livelihoods through practical skills training, our efforts remained focused on making knowledge, resources, and opportunities more accessible to those we serve.

Our environmental activities also reminded us that community development begins at every age. Seeing children learn to care for plants, discover nature, and take responsibility for their surroundings reflects the importance of investing in future generations.

As we move forward, we remain dedicated to standing alongside our communities and working together toward a more inclusive, caring, and resilient Lebanon.

With warm regards,

May Makhzoumi

President of Makhzoumi Foundation

Growing Green

Participants discovered essential gardening tools, planting techniques, and the benefits and care of Greek Oregano. Each child planted their own seedling, gaining practical experience while developing a sense of responsibility toward nature.
