The Friends Fall Newsletter is Here!

As Summer Winds Down...

Summer might be winding down, but Fall is beginningg to wind up in Hocking Hills. Thousands of visitors head to Hocking Hills to enjoy the change of seasons and beautiful vistas as the Park itself is ready to experience what is typically it's second-busiest month of the year – October.

And while the changing leaves may bring people here, it's the people, partnerships, and shared sense of stewardship throughout Hocking Hills that help make the place so special.

In the Fall edition of We All Need Friends, we celebrate community.

Inside you'll find stories from the people who care for Hocking Hills State Park and introduce visitors to its natural wonders, to the tourism partners who welcome millions of guests each year. We'll take you downtown to the newly reopened Logan Theater, look beyond the trailhead with our Park Naturalists, explore the fall sky with the John Glenn Astronomy Park, and introduce you to more of the people and organizations working together throughout Hocking Hills.

There’s a lot happening around the Hills. Come see what your Friends have been up to.

If you're already on our mailing list, your copy should arrive soon.

The stories in We All Need Friends share something in common: people choosing to care about Hocking Hills and finding ways to be part of its future.

Friends of Hocking Hills State Park helps turn that shared appreciation into meaningful support for the Park — strengthening educational programs, enhancing visitor experiences and helping protect the natural resources that make this place extraordinary.

If Hocking Hills matters to you, there’s a place for you among its Friends.
