October is Pastor Appreciation and we can't let this month get by without thanking Pastor Pat Sinnott for filling in for us with his leadership and faithfulness.

Welcome, Dan Sinkhorn - Presiding Elder for the Indiana Southwest District

We are thrilled to have Dan join the Cabinet and serve the Indiana Southwest District beginning October 1.

Rev. Dan Sinkhorn is an ordained elder with 30 years in pastoral ministry; he currently serves as senior pastor of Shiloh Church in Jasper, Indiana. Dan is passionate about helping churches grow in Christian discipleship, cultivate faithful leaders, and live out the Wesleyan call to scriptural holiness. He especially enjoys mentoring pastors and encouraging congregations as they discern their next faithful steps. Dan and his wife, Laura, cherish time with their children and grandchildren.

It's Noodle time! Everyone is invited to help with this all church fund raising event. What to do..when...where and how you ask???

Dates are Friday, October 30, Friday, November 6 and Friday, November 13. We begin about 8:30 mixing. The dough balls are then ready for the cutters. Spreaders come next. Come at your convenience. Come early and stay late. We will have a job for you!!! Then, on Saturday morning at 8:30 am, the noodles are packaged and weighed. We also make angel food cakes from the egg whites. Order both by calling the church office at 812-882-2220.

All Saints Day is Sunday November 1, 2026. Please submit names of loved ones that passed since October 27, 2025.

Names should be submitted to the church office by noon on October 29, 2026.

Christmas is Coming!

With that news is the opportunity for your family to participate in the Advent Candle lighting portion of the service. This year's Advent Sundays are November 29th, December 6th, 13th, and 20th. Let Kristin or John know ahead of time which Sunday you'd like to assist. Thank you.

Fill a Baby Bottle for Heart to Heart

Take a Baby Bottle and fill it with change, cash or a check made out to Heart to Heart.

Funds help provide operational costs, Pregnancy tests, Ultrasounds, Parenting classes, Baby supplies & ongoing support for families.

Return Baby Bottles to the church by October 31st.

Mary Martha's

Who are and What do we do?

We would love to have you join!

Every third Tuesday of the month, the Mary Martha's group meets in the fellowship hall. In addition to devotions, they work on several projects: Angel Tree for skilled care facility residents. Little Elves shopping for the you in church to select and wrap a Christmas gift for the adult caregivers in the home. Easter baskets and eggs. Prayer Warrior program has an adult praying for an assigned youth. Build a Basket for homebound church members. And of Course, special projects. Please consider joining this fun and loving Group. We would love to get to know you.
