THIS WEEK'S AFFIRMATION

THIS WEEK'S SPIRITUAL PRACTICE

Here's a summary of how community members are experiencing our Community Value of GRATITUDE:

  • I was invited to join a group evening out and I am so grateful because it was like medicine to my soul. I socialized, I had fun, and I relaxed. I'm grateful that somebody else opened up an opportunity for me And I got to truly enjoy it..

  • My little dog, Camilla, passed away on Tuesday, and I have two gratitude’s. Number one, that she was sleeping right next to me and just stopped breathing; I hope I go that way. And two, I'm just so grateful that she was such a wonderful part of my life because she was truly a healing angel..

  • My heart goes out to you, my love for the loss of your dog. I'm grateful that we just adopted a new toy Aussie, Giovanni. He's so damn cute and very sweet. I'm grateful that the universe brought us together at the right time.

  • I believe that one diamond cuts another and we're bumping into each other on this journey and polishing each other. I'm so grateful that we have each other in this group. I have not sung a song in front of people before, and I got so much support and encouragement from this crew that I feel another facet of my brilliance has been opened up. I am so grateful for that.

  • I'm just grateful because of all the places I could have been put on this planet, I’m here where when I walk into a room that I can flip a switch and lights come on. I can turn a knob and water comes out. And it's like, wow. I never shine God's shoes. I never took out God's trash. And yet I'm here and I’m just so grateful.

  • I am so grateful this morning that we need more chairs in the room.

  • I have been flowing in some groups and bringing forth my offerings and what I see is everything expanding. That we're doing it all as a spiritual practice as consistently as we can and we just keep going after it and it's expanding. So yeah, gratitude.

  • I am so grateful for the people who have helped me celebrate my 90th birthday in the last few days. Unreal! I mean, they've told me what a blessing I've been in their lives, and my goodness, I had no idea I was even nice.

  • I'm not sure I can put into words what I'm going to try. This year continues to be tumultuous in every way and every day. And you know what? It's okay because I'm okay. I’m grateful.

  • I'm grateful to have my sister Georgette here during some very challenging family times. And I'm grateful that I have two wonderful musicians in my family.
  • I’m grateful because when we started this practice, we could barely fill up two minutes; look at us go now.
  • I am very grateful that in the last two weeks I was able to be with three women that are good friends, some of us were roommates in college and those bonds have stood the test of time and distance.
  • I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to be of service and I'm grateful that I didn't tear out the cords or bump into the minister today..
  • I am simply grateful that I woke up on the green side of grass today.

From our community members online:

  • how can I be anything but grateful living the dream.

  • I am grateful for Gary.

Quote of the Week

“The Buddha taught that it is possible to live 24 hours a day

in a state of love. Every movement, every glance, every thought

and every word can be infused with love.”
