Meet the Masters: We would love your help displaying the students' Meet The Master masterpieces for this year's art show. The art show will take place on April 24th for the Kings Road Community and on the morning of April 25th for the KRS students. The art show is only made possible with your help! Meet the Masters: Nos encantaría recibir su ayuda para mostrar las obras maestras de Meet The Master de los estudiantes para la exposición de arte de este año. Field Day: The field day signup is here! And here! Yes, there are two! On the signup genius you will see slots for all of the field day EVENTS STATIONS. These stations run from 9-1, and you can sign up for a 9-11:10 slot or 11:10-1 slot. Please feel free to sign up for both time slots; stay with your event or try out another! Maybe try out a field location and then move onto the black top. It is a fun day, and feel free to participate as much as you are able! We will have food and water available for grownups pulling a double shift! Also--please note that there are a number of pages on the signup genius; make sure you check them all out. And, while we are confident that you will see your child outside having a blast, there is no way to guarantee that they will come to your station, as not all groups go to all stations. We will have team members around to relieve you for a break if you would like to see your child in action somewhere else!
Día de campo: ¡La inscripción para el día de campo ya está aquí! En el genio de registro verá espacios para todas las ESTACIONES DE EVENTOS del día de campo. The Madison Arbor Day celebration, formerly known as May Day, is happening Saturday, April 27th. We need materials and hands on deck to help beautify the KRS grounds. Sign up here. Of note that children are welcomed but parents are responsible for their supervision. Please bring water bottles, gardening tools, gloves, and know that we dig in the dirt. We would love it if boy scout troops and girl scout troops could participate. Sign up for one slot if you’re a troop and note for us. Parents of older students, we honor service hours. Please let us know if your high school student wants to help us facilitate the day/activities. Shifts are one hour. Please note that we will not have access to restroom facilities. WE APPRECIATE YOU.
La celebración del Día del Árbol de Madison, anteriormente conocida como Primero de Mayo, se llevará a cabo el sábado 27 de abril. Necesitamos materiales y manos a la obra para ayudar a embellecer los terrenos de KRS. Registrate aquí. Cabe destacar que los niños son bienvenidos pero los padres son responsables de su supervisión. Traiga botellas de agua, herramientas de jardinería, guantes y sepa que cavamos en la tierra. Nos encantaría que pudieran participar tropas de boy scouts y girl scouts. After a long hiatus the KRS Learning Garden is back! Kudos to the awesome Ms. Hoekstra and Ms. Smith for making this experience possible and proud. The learning garden is a beloved volunteer opportunity and no green thumb is required. All lessons and materials are provided. Sign up here! Volunteer shifts require a set amount of time so that you’re present to assist in numerous ways and help make shelving efficient and effective. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to become familiar with a beautiful space at KRS.
