The documentary “Pioneer Engineers - Diversity in Motorsports” follows six female college students of color during a NASCAR weekend around the storied Charlotte Motor Speedway. It is documentary for our time.

While the students do a deep dive on what a career as a motorsports engineer might look like, they also come to understand that it may come with challenges. 

The :43 clip from the documentary is Hendrick Motorsports' Alba Colon talking about the critical role diversity plays in motorsports.

“Pioneer Engineers”, written and produced in cooperation with STEAM Sports Foundation and HBCUgo.tv, premieres live Saturday at 6pm ET on HBCOgo.tv. Additional live showings are scheduled:

Feb 13 at 2:30 pm ET

It will also reside on HBCUgo’s On Demand digital platform.
