MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF
Hello everybody!
One of the things I love about St. Patrick is the generosity of our parishioners. Time and again, when there is a need, you respond. And while we accomplish a great deal together as a parish, we are also part of something much larger.
This weekend, we kick off the annual Catholic Services Appeal throughout the Archdiocese of Louisville. This year's theme is One Body in Christ, Moving Forward in Faith. It reminds us that we are not simply individual parishes doing our own thing. We are one Church, sharing in one mission.
Through the Appeal, we support ministries that no single parish could sustain on its own: forming future priests, supporting Catholic education and faith formation, caring for those in need, and strengthening families throughout our Archdiocese. These are not someone else's ministries. They are ours.
Our goals at St. Patrick this year remain the same as last year: $180,600 and participation from 451 parish families. I hope we will reach both, but I especially want to encourage participation. Whether your gift is large or small, it matters. Every family that participates helps carry forward the mission we share. We can do this together!
Giving Together is one of our pillars of stewardship, and the Catholic Services Appeal is a wonderful opportunity to live that commitment beyond the boundaries of our parish.
Thank you for your generosity and for all the ways you help make Christ present to others. While we continue to need your generosity to fulfill our mission at St. Patrick, I hope you will also prayerfully consider making a gift to this year's Appeal.
May God pour out his blessings upon you!
Peace,
Fr. Jeff
