We only have one planet and we must serve as prudent stewards to vigilantly protect it for this and future generations. The Natural Resources Defense Council combines the power of more than 3 million members and online activists with the expertise of some 700 scientists, lawyers, and other environmental specialists to confront the climate crisis, protect the planet's wildlife and wild places, and to ensure the rights of all people to clean air, clean water, and healthy communities. We are excited to present Zak Smith, Senior Attorney and Director of Global Biodiversity Conservation, as our subject matter expert. He has devoted virtually his entire legal career to this essential cause and leads NRDC's global strategy to tackle the two primary drivers of nature's decline: ecosystem destruction and direct exploitation of species. Join our interactive learning community of professional and volunteer non-profit leaders to learn about the steps humanity must take to protect the precious earth for you, your children and your grandchildren.
