This year's Beach Day commemorates the 12th anniversary of the day Nick entered his heavenly home on July 27, 2014. As we always do on the last Monday in July, we invite everyone who is part of the Thrive in Joy community, to join us on July 27th from 2:00 pm - 7:30 pm to reflect on how Nick's life continues to bring ripples of joy and inspiration to so many others.
We know it's a work day, so if you need to arrive after 6:00 pm, don't let that stop you from showing up! A meal is served at 5:00, the program starts at 6:00, and be sure to stay to be part of the heart on the beach at sunset. Join us and connect with family, old friends, as well as meet new people who have become part of the Thrive in Joy community. We're grateful for the 12 years we've seen the growth of Thrive in Joy's mission of encouraging strength of character and the joy of service in young people through programs inspired by Nick's life. There is always a little miracle or two that happens on this day, but the biggest miracle of all is the love and joy that each of you brings to us by being there.

On the beach at the intersection of
Driftwood Street and Ocean Front Walk
Park in the lot at the end of Washington Blvd at Venice Pier and
walk to the south end of the parking lot (away from the pier).
Look for the turquoise umbrellas and the Thrive in Joy tent on the beach
by the volleyball nets.
