School Picture Day - September 24
School Picture Day is Wednesday, September 24! Freed Photography will once again take individual portraits of each student, as well as sibling photos, and parents will be sent individualized links and passwords to view and purchase these photos.

Who Will Be Crowned Apple Fest’s Star Baker?
Think your apple pie, crisp, cake, or tart is the best around? Prove it at the OFS Apple Fest Bake-Off! We’re looking for up to 15 star bakers to wow our judges and community tasters with homemade apple creations.
Bake Off Guidelines:
- Apples must be the star of your dessert.
- Bring two of the same bake—one for the judges and one for the crowd!
- No nuts of any kind, please (keep it allergy-friendly)
- Label your dessert with your name, the dish name, and full ingredients.
- Drop-off by 10:30 AM; judging at 11:00 AM; winners announced at 12:00 PM!
Categories include: Most Decorative, Most Creative, Most Flavorful, and Fan Favorite (plus a special participation prize for every entrant!).
Spots are limited—so dust off those mixing bowls and sign up today for a chance to claim Apple Fest glory!

Join the musical theater team for an informational session about our 2025-2026 musical theater program on Wednesday, October 1, from 4:00-5:00 pm in the Art & Music Room!
Parents and students who are interested in learning more about this exciting program for the school year are invited to attend. We’ll cover everything from how rehearsal works to the program's expectations.

Please note that Monday, October 13 (Indigenous Peoples' Day) will be a half-day for students due to afternoon teacher training. Dismissal will follow our normal half-day schedule:
- Little Stars & CPG – 11:30 AM
- Arbor – 11:35 AM
- Academy – 11:40 AM
- Ambassadors – 11:50 AM

Dismissal times at OFS are staggered so that we can maintain an orderly, safe carpool line. Please arrive no earlier than the start of your child's class dismissal times. Thank you for helping us keep dismissal working smoothly!

- CPG – 3:30 - 3:45 pm
- Arbor – 3:35 - 3:50 pm
