Happy Optimist Day! Today, we recognize the positive impact Optimists have on our communities and share the power of Optimism will those around us!

To celebrate Optimist Day this year, the Optimist International Foundation is making 38 donations to Ronald McDonald Houses across the country – one in honor of each U.S. district. The Foundation will also donate to Bustamante Children's Hospital in Jamaica in honor of the Caribbean District. These donations are a testament to our commitment to bringing out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves. 

On Wednesday, Optimist International President Jan Oord Graves presented a check in person to her local Ronald McDonald House in San Antionio, Texas. Optimist International Foundation Executive Director Craig Boring and Optimist International Executive Director Cheryl Brenn did the same in St. Louis.
