Ok I’m going to be honest…which by now you probably know I tend to take “transparent” to the level before TMI.

I’m a little lost trying to see where we are going these next 4 month. “Here We Go Again” v2 is looking familiar to parts of the past 18 months, but modified. As frustrating it is, at least we learned a lot about how to manage work, home and life in general.

Many of the articles I had been saving to put in this issue, I feel are not the things we are thinking about. So this is one of the most random collection articles, kinda like throw it at the wall and see what sticks. Kinda the way I am feeling some days.

So I hope something makes you smile, something helps you cope, something teaches you something, and something gives you hope.

If we got through the last 18 months we can figure out how to get through the next 4. My goal is to use what I learned, learn more…and do all those things I didn’t get off my list.

Are you waiting to register for the class? Let’s talk about what happens. I had to cancel a class for the first time in a few years this summer, because registration was so behind. Within the four days after I did , I had three people tell me “I was going to register”. And I had someone tell me recently that also she had planned to. If I had those people registered two weeks out, I would have probably had the class.

If events involve registration/ticket sales, sometimes the hard decision is made to cancel when the numbers are not where they need to be. Some of you plan that kind of meetings and events, and some of you never have meetings cancelled for lack of attendance because people must attend. I have had more than one person say “I was waiting to see if it was on before I registered”. If everyone does that---it will be cancelled. Any reputable organization, is going to give you every penny back if it gets cancelled, as I did in July.

Please ---whether it is my class or any other event, if you are sure you are going, commit and buy in. In my case if you are positive that you are taking it , but you are waiting let’s say for your credit card to be in another cycle (been there), please contact me and let me know.

Call for Submissions for Steve's Book

Do your friends and family think that some of the things you do are….odd? Like lists…and lists of lists? And an obsession with binders and folders? And you feel there should be little white lights everywhere inside and out? And food has to be arranged? And you rearrange the clearing tray at events…that are not your events? And you take pictures of flowers, food and room set ups wherever you go?

Some of you may have read the articles that Steve (The Great to some of you) wrote about living with a meeting planner (one link below). Because of that some people have said he should write a book about them---He needs your help. We would like to include things from everyone who has a story to tell! We do not have to use your name with the story , but we will give credit to everyone who submits something he uses. We are hoping to have it ready before the end of the year to make a fun gift to those who live with you, so they know it is not just them. (Or should it say - so they know they are not alone?)
